watch out for pick pockets and thieves in and around the train station in Rome.. like seriously do not let go of your stuff, or turn away from it for any second.. otherwise.. enjoy it!!

a great way to get around Rome is to pick up a map from Mcdonalds.. i know that sounds funny but really they have a location at every major spot.. and their maps are easy to follow..

also the McDonalds in the Spanish Steps area is like a super hardcore 5 star luxury restaurant.. it contains if i remembr 5 floors each targeting a different style of food.. from seafood, to steaks to well it is not your regular restaurant..

if you are going to visit the Vatican, make sure you dress appropriately or else they will not allow you to enter.. this generally translates more towards women than men as they have to wear dresses that cover their knees and also their shoulders can not be exposed.. kinda strange but i was with a few girls that could not get in for this very reason..

watch out for Gypsies, they are notorious in theft and crazy stunts to rob you.. especially gypsy children.. they roam the city in packs and will do what ever it takes to get anything off your body.. be careful..

also be aware when walking thru narrow streets as vespas and mini cars will just plow thru them and will not honk their horn if you are in the way..

i suggest you rent a Piaggio Vespa for the time you are there as it is easier to travel around and fun too!!

im jealous of your journey.. the food, the art, the city, the vibe is so sweet!!

    enjoy it!!
