spent some time in venice- that's not on your list, but really enjoyed it. stayed in a b&b about an hours drive outside of the city, as it was less expensive to drive/park/take ferry than to get a room inside the city for the night. loved it though- looking to go back soon.
overall, enjoyed the smaller towns over the bigger cities.
