look into a gateway or dell. they have decent puters and good service plans. plus much like when purchasing a mac online, you can add/delete options from each computer.
i'm looking to get my semi-computer literate parents a gateway this x-mas. i'm looking into a middle of the road gateway and added options like a digital camera and photo printer, along with a flat panel monitor for less than 1200.
just try to stay away from the celeron processors. i've heard mixed things. i've heard some people say they freeze up once in a while for no reason.
