Coverage for liability or gear?
Photographers Liability Insurance is often required for when you reserve a city park with a pricey permit, and/or work in a building that requires such things... you often have to have your agent fax a form to the building owner,etc...
Gear Insurance can help with rental at some places so you don't have to use a credit card for deposit....
APA and ASMP have member discounts with various insurers last I heard.. I use an agent referred by a friend....
