Call me the devils advocate here, but what would be the purpose for getting a gun, just to feel cool? If you don't actually do what most people who buy guns do, go hunting, aren't you more or less paying for something you'll never use?
Unless you forsee going on an urban rampage/ revenge spree Charles Bronson style.
Might as well get a really cool crossbow or a fuckin medieval mace or something...

- i'm a reservist and we only shoot live rounds 4 times a year so i figured it would a hobby that might be somewhat useful someday lolairscape
