Psychiatrist in prog explained it was likely a rare form of temporary insanity, or folie à deux.
I got stabbed by a mental patient a year and a half ago (he tried, but did a very bad job of it) near where I live, full light of day, kids all around, etc. And my first thought was 'I hope this guy isn't one of those mentalists with Blade Runner-style super-strength or I'm done for'!!
Because with some it really does seem to happen — not only were these two girls ultra-strong but you hardly see any blood anywhere.
And the one that run under an articulated truck and had exposed fractures all over her legs was spitting at the police guy and trying to fight him off!
Unreal, and pretty unsettling. Sheesh...
