    I'd say that you did the right thing. 1k sounds perfect for that job. It is just a lot of masking and fade...total work time of maybe at most 7 hours depending on the detail of the line art. Then figure in the time you spend dealing with the client on concept and implemetation. 1k is a professional, upstanding price for this intro. Just make sure it's pretty ; )
