good start...
i can't really say if it fits or not because i don't know what kind of music you play...
i really like the colors and patterns but i agree with the out of scale comment...i think to fix that you could do a few things:
- remove the box around the nav and put the main nav links across the top
- move the mailing list box outside of the main content area
- remove the pars illustration and crest thing on the bottom left
- make the whole thing bigger...is there a reason you started with such a small content area?
i like the content font...serifs complements the patterns and fancy things nicely...maybe a point or two smaller?
nice stuff going on tho...some tweaking and could be quite good...
