no confusion, Silva waited the entire bout for the right moment and then he struck like a cobra. He channeled his combined cardio, pain threshold, and ground and pound patience to defensively stalk his opponent - the right opportunity presented itself and Silva struck. What's most telling is how easily Silva was able to "find himself" in a submission situation, was almost too convenient given the time and tone of the fight. Silva put on a show and out strategized Sonnen, manufacturing a come from behind victory layer on top of what was always a guaranteed Silva win.
