Ok, so i bought a new HD (after wasting hours on test/ disk permission repair rounds, booting from disk and running all sorts of disk management programs) and did a clean install. Migration manager won't let me copy most of my stuff from the old HD, so that must have been on the edge i guess.... On the up site: i now have a very clean system. I'm just a little afraid about all the work and projects still on the old one.....
