I gave the new CD a listen and you were right, Mig. It's pretty righteous.
I have to say that I saw them at the Greek Theatre in like 2007 or 2008, and it was, to date, the best live show I have ever seen. Not only do they sound flawless live, they have intensity in their live show that many other bands lack. They were climbing in the rafters, and going completely nuts. I was lucky enough to have a hook-up to be backstage and stuff, and got to say hello to everyone. Win was very calm and collected, and had zero pretentiousness. He was drawing in a sketchbook and when I asked what he was drawing, he said, "Some crap, but it helps me relax." Very cool dude, and I am glad that they continue to maintain their uncompromising style across even their new record.
