Yeah, I bought one to take to Hawaii last year and really like it as a point and shoot travel camera. Also takes nice videos, simple to use, removable SD card, and what I thought was the best feature... AA batteries. I was in the countryside, without a source to recharge a battery, but took extra AA's with me. I really like this camera.
