The problem in the UK (although I'm pretty sure it's not just a British problem) is that anything of any importance or grandeur is always produced through 'design by committee'. Layers and layers of marketing twats telling you what people like and any true vision drowns in the depths of a thousand brainstorming meetings.
The 2012 Olympics will be one big camel.
