Refurb is BETTER than NOT TESTED
If there was an issue with the refurb (because sometimes is a display box, etc) it has already been fixed, and put to the SAME QUALITY STANDARDS than a regular computer.I have had dead pixels, laptop latch not closing properly, and eventually a laptop completely dying on me with brand new laptops, never had any issues with refurbished.
Like everyone else said, just get apple care and you are good to go, you'll not only have more money in your pocket, but you will also have more peace of mind, in terms of product efficiency.
