OK.. another thought... depends on your client base....
Some clients are "custom" oriented.... if they hear you used wordpress and a bunch of free plugins they may think "but my brother's kid could do that?!?!" .... so obscure = your esoteric knowledge in their minds sometimes....
Some clients see a custom CMS as a vendor-lock-in trick.... so they want you to use wordpress or something like it, not something they've never heard of....
