This is a movie about demons.
Those entities use portals to come into our world,
they feed of our fears and need to terrorize us to keep their own paralel world going.What they are addicted to, is the energy we release when we're afraid, they love it, can't get enough of it, it is like crack to them.
The hierarchy of hell is not set and there's a constant battle between those entities to gain the respect of their brood.
When one little girl who's has the power to fight them decides to take matter in her own hand, chaos ensues.
