I don't see anything to get depressed about:
We are in the service sector, satisfying clients and customers; we are not artists. We do commercial design that isn't meant to be framed and hung up on the wall. That is commercail design - our job - while the rest of the people work with far more unglamorus shiet, taking far more shit from whomever the're dealing with. Therefor, be happy about this job and this industry you're in.
Above all, be happy that the harsch words from your client is just "change this color to green" rather then...
