Just so you know it's a terrible thing to do to a font as you ruin the balance of thicks to thins, ink traps become exaggerated etc.
If you absolutely, positively have to kill the font this way you can add a stroke, expand and delete the unnecessary outlines.

- yes, what you're doing to type is rape and it is bound to look like crap, so I have to agree it is rubbishmonospaced
