  A 35 will not be such a huge difference. You don't have a ton of options when using a cropped sensor. I would recommend renting each of those until you find exactly what you want (lensrentals.com is very cheap).

  Anything wide and fast is going to get very pricey, but I do recommend sticking with Nikon glass when possible. The third party stuff is very hit or miss.
