I use it to watch DVD's and game frequently. DVD/audio quality is superb with HDMI and good sound system.
The instant streaming works excellent 9/10 times. Quality can suck during peak hours though. There is also a small smattering of HD quality flicks available that look superb even when streamed.
If i had one gripe it's that the instant stream doesn't really have the best picks as far as new releases and current TV. If you don't mind watching backlogged movies / tv then i'd say go for it. Besides that, if you use netflix at all you still get access to their mail-service DVD's.
