  @Kult thanks but looking for Google Earth rather than Google maps
  there seems to be an apparent lack is this just solely because of usability issues? It just strikes be as so backward when companies ask for bespoke animated globes to be produced when you could just use Google earth and map a layer over the top no?? I am not a developer so I imagine there are many concerns raised in doing this but even still I am surprised I have not yet seen one example of this, anyone can enlighten me???

  • I don't thitnk I've heard of a web API for Google Earth. Afaik it's all in-program.detritus
  • You can certainly get in-GE overlays and 'smart' interactions... just not websites.detritus
