boz does makes good points but I think the point of the show/marketing strategy is the opposite. They are showing these kids to show how abnormal their lives are. The only ones who think their lives are normal are those 2 girls and people like those two girls. Because most of us can't relate to buying a pair of $400 shoes it "makes it interesting" It is easy press and word of mouth spreads like crazy cause majority of people can't relate. They make the show for next to nothing...they get great ad dollars during the show and laugh all the way to the bank. Sensationalizing. If it was about normal hard working joes it would be educational but would make as much easy money for MTV and that is what they are about. They don't care about how it makes people feel or effects society. Money. The osbournes proved it and this show will too.
