No, it's very nice. It could do with less padding on the bottom - it's got some vertical scroll going on in the work section.
Well, maybe the "1000 days" bit makes you sound inexperienced yet trying to puff up what experience you have.
The company that built your site - linked in design - has an absolutely horrid web page. Did you design your site yourself and have them code it, or did they design and code it both? If the former, you might consider removing the link to their page -- it implies that you did not create your own site, which might be a bit off, considering that you're a designer.
