The fact that uruguay was the winner in 1930 and 1950 means nothing. Those world cups had 12 teams in total with the tough competitors of peru, india and bolivia. Back then 4 games was all you needed to play to get to the final.
Uruguay is done this world cup. They overachieved already and have yet to play a soccer power. Playing against south korea and ghana to get to the semifinals is not something to be impressed about.
