I agree. Multiple levels of drop-downs can be frustrating, especially when they aren't very large. Drop-downs are also good when you have TONS of content areas you are trying to organize. Why hide that stuff when you have so little to show? And why put your information be under "work"? And why have "ongoing?" Isn't that just another level of nav in the way of what people want to get to?
Also, I think your post title treatment could use a little love.
You've got some cool stuff on there though.
