So the fans are designing the logo now?
Appeasing the client is one thing. Appeasing their audience is another. This seems like a "please just let this go away" move on behalf of the design agency to me. This stinks of surrender and an "anything to make everyone happy" move - which we can pretty much all attest to - results in a mediocre product.
Goodluck to them though.
