    xanax will help mitigate the effects of an attack. if she finds that isnt working, and she has anxiety all the time, she can try an SSRI, like lexapro. It works wonders.
    My doctor told me you can fix this thru about 2 years of therapy, or in about 2 months on lexapro. take your pick.
    Most people think you can just calm yourself down, but sometimes the panic just feeds itself and gets worse and worse until you can finally relax. medications are an easy way to make improvement.
    Of course, diet, exercise and breathing/meditation can help reduce generalized anxiety as well.
