i find this all really interesting... the question here is will apple ultimately insist on only using its tools to pump out 'compliant' apps when there are open source alternatives that make it a little easier for guys like me to get in the game.
i just simply don't have the time to learn objective-c in the a-student way i'd like to (*queue waaambulance) and it'd be great for me, and i'm assuming many other web nerds, to utilize skills we already have to just git'er done.
we'll wait and hear what the dark overlord will say i suppose. in time.
