    Just to give you some actual numbers, the U.S. currently uses just under 7 billion barrels of oil/ year.

    The total proven reserves, if we open up the Arctic Wildlife Refuge and everything else? 21 billion barrels.

    So if oil companies got their way and could drill EVERYWHERE within the continental U.S., you'd have enough oil to power the country for three years.

    So much for your fantasy of the EPA blocking shit. The truth is that we have no other choice but to drill offshore if we don't develop other viable sources of energy.
