Here's my take on this kind of thing (from my experience).
• did you ever look at other girls when you were going out, did you always think how great it would be to be single? most do during a relationship, it's normal. now are that guy that your past self envied. The grass is always greener.
• There are 6 billion people in the world, yes this girl may have been great for you, but are you really telling us the odds of you meeting the perfect girl for you is really 6,000,000,000 to 1? In reality after 3 years with someone you get on with, you'd have developed similar feelings. It's not that she was perfect for you, it's that you made it work. You can do it again, it will just take time and there are no easy shortcuts to get back to that kind of familiarity with someone.
• in a year you'll look back and not see things with a different perspective.
• Either all of the above, or you really should be with her, in which case keep trying to work it out, but you rarely get to the point of breaking up if there's not at least some reasons for doing it
