Then you start to get an idea of what a rarity Steve Jobs is. He's not a saint or anything, but for all of his "magic this" and "magic that" he's one smart, passionate guy. There's a general feeling that CEOs of large companies are thoughtless, greedy, empty figureheads. (Which may be an unjust assertion, but walk with me for a moment...) What comes across from Steve Jobs is that he's none of those things. He's the heart of the company and he's very sharp. That alone is inspiring. That from a CEO is unheard of.
So I personally don't mind someone starting a thread about his D8 interview. Just my two pence.
- I thought Ray Ozzie came off better than Ballmer and pretty much one upped him in that clip.ukit
