Fellas...
I just had a 1 year old Western Digital 40 gig bite the dust yesterday. Not a mac specific hard drive. Yet my four year old SCSI internal 8 gig is still running like a champ.
It's not OS X, its not OS 9, not even windows XP.
Shit breaks. Hard drives fail.
Life sucks. Get used to it.
