    how do you figure iPad will pay for itself?

    It's one of those devices that is absolutely and completely a waste of money. It has nothing that makes it a device that can pay for itself. It's not a must, it serves really no purpose but to act as a pure leisure item.

    I guess when you develop for it, it might act as a testing device but then again you have the simulator for that.

    I guess if someone else pays for it, that's ok.
