There are 10's of thousands of chemicals in use on the market without full eco/human toxilogical testing.
Usually it is only when a chemical has directly shown to cause harm will it be tested properly.
The European Union has been pushing though a massive piece of regulation that basically asks chemical manufacturers to make public their impacts of the shit they make....... it has been so strongly opposed and so complex it make my tiny mind explode --- http://ec.europa.eu/enterprise/s…
