Shipped all my stuff via UPS and FedEx from CA to NY. Heavy boxes of books shipped at a lower rate because they weren't as fragile. My iMac was expensive because of the extra packaging. It's definitely cheaper than driving it across the country, and hell of a lot more convenient.
