you're better off putting them in smaller separate boxes usually. they take dimensions and weight to calculate cost, so all in one may end up costing more, as well as being more likely to be damaged just by getting moved around a lot under its own weight.
I shipped 3 sound systems, turntables, 3 pcs, a bike, three small tables, clothes, kitchen stuff, about 1000 records, all total I think 30 boxes, all came in under $1000 with insurance and all.

grafiske - it was a per-box value i think. you get 500 for each, you just pay more if the value is higher, can't recall the rate thoughacescence
