    I don't see it. If it's such a big industry, why are their no CCM albums in the Billboard top 50(Evenesence doesn't count)?

    I would be suprised if CCM accounted for even 10% of any major label's (not Sparrow, but it's parent company EMI) sales.

    It may seem bigger in Nashville, cause it's one of only 2 things going on in town.

    Christian punk, rap, etc are probably only selling to church kids who's parents won't let them listen to the real stuff -- A market that CCM doesn't have to work too hard to keep. If they were concerned more about making good music than they are about not pissing those parents off, they could show that the industry is not just a musical Xerox machine.
