a lot of people say primes improve your skills as they make you think more about composition.
Im a big fan of my 20mm prime (40mm equivalent), its a really nice perspective have a wide angle view, to me it feels like it puts the viewer right into the scene.
and from what ive heard almost all nikon lenses are incredible.

- yes, a wide prime gets you to think more about perspective.... learn to previsualize not just zoomvaxorcist
