Normal mode???
You don't seriously miss that surely...??
In MX it was already virtually impossible to do anything of any calibre with normal mode.
The reason for using seperate AS files for classes is that they must be defined before the 1st frame, in the SWF itself so to speak.....
The new components CAN be modified, EVERYTHING can...BUT it involves fannying around with the classes....which is not advised unless you really know what you are doing...
