yep.. it's gone...
.. I went to a little macromedia shindig here in phx about 3 weeks ago...
... one of the first things the macromedia guys admitted to was that advanced mode is your only option.
Also - any new components (if you ever used them) that are new to 2004 cannot be reverse engineered or editted (redundant?). You're given a few color options etc - but there's no customizing.
Apparently, Macromedia 'hired' a former Art Director of Nike (the macromedia guy even dropped a name... but I forget)... and this Nike guy basically decided on the three color options and style of the new UNEDITABLE components. I'm not sure if they're trying to start a web standard or lose customers.
One last thing from the macromedia man: "Macromedia now suggests that it's better if you DON'T place all your code on the first frame.
I'm still a bit confused - but boy is onClipEvent handy. :)
