Years ago.... I had fun at unpretentious jobs like pizza delivery and driving a cab in a college town for a while.... I had other gigs programming for engineering projects.... waay more prestige but waaay more stress....
One massively important thing.... ask yourself what precisely is driving you crazy, it may be more due to your co-workers and/or the business clients you have now rather than the work itself....
I've noticed that working for companies who are desperate for clients is alot more stressful than working for companies that are not desperate...
