You can offer a whole lot moving to another industry and giving it a whole new perspective. It's been doing quite often in history and great results have come out of them.
If you're miserable now, think about living like that for the rest of your life. It's gonna suck. I say prepare and plan to leave in the best way possible. Once you do that, you'll be ready to go.
