    I'm not trying to sound like an authority here but I do have some measure of experience handling dogs - my Mother was a breeder for over 20 years. She bred german shepherds (which IMO is probably the most superior breed of dog on earth) and also kenneled between 10-15 dogs at a given time. She was paying close attention to dog obedience and training tactics long before The Dog Whisperer ever showed up on the scene. He only capitalized on what many top-pedigree breeders and trainers had been saying for years. Anyway, those are my two cents. Train the master - not the dog ;)
