You'd probably do pretty nicely freelance down there.
but you're only 5 mins from hong kong, all the good agencies are there. Not really a big expat community in guangzhou either, again because of it's proximity to HK.
There are some cool Chinese studios, would be an interesting experience to join them if money wasn't your thing!
