    I have no idea why it matters that the iPhone was released three years ago.

    The iPhone has been upgraded year on year. The current hardware isn't going to vary much from the current crop of Android devices. Steve Jobs' essay on Flash's incompatibility with mobile devices was published during the last month.

    There isn't a time-limit for allowing technologies on-board the iPhone OS.

    His arguments are slowly being shown for what they are: disingenuous statements, designed to divert attention way from the core _tactical_ decisions behind disallowing Flash from the iPhone OS.

    • #6 on Jobs' letter was a blatantly tactical decision, that point was all about Apple's best interest. He didn't hide it.kpl
