I had jury duty when I worked at a news organisation.... yes, even though I worked for the media, they took me... I was on jury duty for almost 2 weeks... really interesting people,2 of whom became friends afterwards.... it was interesting to see how people think and draw different conclusions from the same evidence.... since I had a FullTime job at the time, yes I still got paid plus the lovely $17/day that Jury Duty paid me, and I had to take my laptop and check in for 2-3 hours each night on all the server shit...., but it wasn't as bad as I feared....
