everytime i've been called for jury duty they've cancelled the day before. so i can't tell you what to do to get out of it but i'm sure its not hard. You COULD simply tell them it would very bad for you and your work, its not like they wouldn't understand. You should see if there's a number to call and see if they still need you to show up.
