I think this software is a bit ugly so if anyone has suggestions I'd like to hear them. It's been really helpful to see what makes my laptop super hot. (Flash video and Skype video in particular send the GPU up to 80C!)

But of course. Quickly jump into data viz programming, among other things. And if you're looking for a similar Python-based tool try NodeBox at http://nodebox.net/. And if you get serious about Java a lot of people recommend the Eclipse IDE at http://eclipse.org/. I think both Java and Eclipse are fugly, but sometimes you just have to put on boots and wade through it, eh?
