  Well, the bottom line is that as long as we are dependent on it, we need oil. Anyone watch the documentary Collapse? I didn't agree with every last thing in there but it did an excellent job showing how quickly society would grind to a halt without fossil fuels.

  We are paying the price everyday we don't spent more time developing alternatives, but that doesn't mean the alternatives are there yet either.

  • It's insane to think we can go off fossil fuels immediately. But we need aggressive targets for clean energy...joeth
