    I would be more concern about reducing plastic than paper

    Imagine if for every time you bought a plastic bottle, and get a paper receipt, and pile up both in different landfills, the plastic one will be way more damaging to the planet than the paper one.

    And if we stop using plastic cards that have expiration dates that will be eventually end up in a landfill instead of paper money that is reusable, and is only considered a waste when you pay cash to see a movie starring vin diesel :)
